4 Days to go....what's what after that?

Today's the 26th of August and it finally hit me that I only have 4 working days left. After that, I will be free as a bird but might be bored to death too. My boss did asked me to extend my internship but I refused 'just because' .period. =P

I guess I better start planning on what to do during my remaining holidays. The first thing I have in mind is to have a gilafied shopping spree. And by gilafied I meant the places I intend to go in a day:

1) KLCC (definate)
2) Timesquare & Sungai Wang & Bukit Bintang (definate)
3) Midvalley (definate)
4) 1 Utama (probably)
5) Sunway Pyramid (maybe)
6) Subang Parade (probably not)
7) Summit (definately not)

Will be getting stuffs for the Langkawi trip on the 18th Sept. Tops, shorts, belt, bag, sunblock and maybe the 30 ml Ise Miyake if I still have the spare cash. Have been eyeing that for ages...........sorry but you might wanna know that I'm a sucker for cool perfumes with nice/fancy bottles =D. The problem I have now is that I'm not sure what the budget will be. Gotta do some budgetting and forecasting I guess..lolz.

Okay, enough with the shopping which only take a day of the hols. Alrighty, will make a list of things I wanna/gonna do:

a) Learn to play the guitar!!!
b) Continue Mandarin class (level 2)
c) Improve my handwriting!!!!
d) Workout, jog and swim!!!!
e) Improve my excel & powerpoint skills.
f) Karaoke
g) Bake a cake.
h) Learn how to bake a cake
i) Read more books.
j) Read more of the newspaper.
k) Watch more CNN & less E!??
l) Polish my car.
m) Improve presentation skills.

Okay....I think that should be enough till classes start. I'm gonna prettyyy busy.......IF I do all above.

Badminton @ Bukit Jalil

I've never been a badminton fan but I do enjoy watching it once a while. Most of the time I would be supporting Malaysia whenever there's Thomas CUp or the World Badminton Championship. HOwever, I'm not sure if I'm some kind of jynx but i can swear on my doggy's bulu that Malaysia always lose whenever I sincerely support them. Hence I decided to test my 'special gift' once more. This time, I'll go LIVE.

Sheiai, a colleague of mine took the liberty to actually buy the tix. I thought it would be a great way to get things off my mind since I had a rough day yesterday. So I went as well. Again, was also serious to test my 'special gift' *cough*jynx*cough*

The stadium was surprisingly crowded. I was thinking it would probably empty because it's not even the quarter or semis. It's only the 3rd round. But I was so so so wrong....

The first match was our beloved Lee Chong Wei, Malaysia's No.1 seed against Soni from Indonesia and we were so fortunate to get the first row seats in the stadium. Best view ever!! So the match started and *smash*... Indo 1-0 Mal.....*5 minutes later* Indo 8-5 Mal~~~~ 15 minutes later Indo 21-11 Mal. KANASAI! Lee Chong Wei lost the first match. So we consoled ourselves that it is probably just a strategy he adopted to make the opponent overconfident. And then the second set started.

~~~ 20 minutes later~~~
Indo 21-09 Mal
I have proven myself.
Here are some random pics I took with my N80.
I was forced to leave early because I had work to do at home. However, I was greeted with a great experience. I spent a wonderful 15-20 minutes looking for my car simply because the carpark was so fcking big. And my memory was so fcking bad. I love my life.
Sigh
Thursday wasn't a great day. Work was hectic. Body was aching. Mind wasn't calm. Boss was bossy. Colleagues were quiet. Friends weren't supportive. Life kinda suck. If only I can be who I am not.
.PMS.
So did what I had to do. Since I'm not attached, I can't complain or simply hug it out. So I resort to food. Good Food. =) Slightly pricy, but it's worth it considering it would 'un-emonize" me. So called DZul out to have dinner, my treat since he spent me the last time. Went to my fav place; Ms Read/ Delicious and ordered my fav pasta, Duck Confit Spegettini. Money well spent, felt so much better after that.
~DUck Confit Spegettini~
Went home after dinner. Shower and gaze at the PC. Again, am trying to search myself. Fuck it. Just sleep and get over it. Maybe I'll need Ms Read again tomorrow, or maybe a new life.
Me is 'Kaki Bangku'? Not!!!!
Have been working from mondays to fridays.....have been sleeping early from mondays to thursdays....friday and saturday nights are the only time i can afford to stay up late since I am able to piggg the whole of next morning. But I was wrong................................................
Not only was I forced to wake up early today, I am suppose to participate in the GE GLP Futsal tournament. Futsal is such a beautiful game but with me in it, it would just look like putting a Bonsai plant in the middle of a tulips plantation---> totally lost!! Still don't get what I mean? Okay, I SUCK in futsal/football!!!! Hence, I woke up this morning dreading to go to that place, thinking of possible 'emergency' excuses to give. But my conscience wouldn't allow me to do so considering the fact that I was assigned to be the team captain (....again, was forced into this position...ahh babiii!!)
So I got my lazy bum there and help out with the preparations. While doing so, I was eyeing the guests that arrived; identifying the potential people who were probably going to trash us later. When the GE Engine Services, GE Healthcare, GEMAC and GE Indonesia players arrived, my jaws fell to the ground. They're obviously seasoned players, with proper futsal boots, gloves and jerseys. They even have their dedicated team futsal windbreakers for crying out loud!! As for our team, we don't even have our own jersey. Instead, we wore our GLP shirt. Shitz.............
The first team we played against was GE Engine Services (GEESM). As team captain, I felt I have the responsibility to bring up the team spirit. We all knew we're going to get trashed. So, what's the objective of today's game I asked them? *silences* We're NOT LOSING BY DOUBLE DIGITS! L0lz. Everyone then started laughing and we got a little less tensed. When the game started, surprisingly everyone played alright! To make things better, we even scored the first goal. That's where everyone got a little 'gungho'!!! And then GEESM managed to tie the score............then scored the second goal...............................................................and then the third...............and then......the whistle went off. It was the end of the game. @_______@ Everyone got so depressed! One of us even cried while the other started punching the wall in the toilet. It's because we knew we could win the match. Such dissapointment...................... Oh wait, I was Kidding~~~~ We were all fine and happy with it as we were able to sustain our objective~No double-digit~
The next game we played was against GE Healthcare. This game was FUN. Why? Because we WON!!!!!!! HAHAHAHHA....We changed our formation and it worked tremendously! The match ended at 2-0 and we went back satisfied. While resting after the game, something hit me in the mind. I was enjoying myself back there. Futsal was actually fun........and i did not sucked as I thought i would. Hmm.........maybe i've underestimated myself before this. I'm not the Kaki Bangku I was before. Lolz
*Will load the pics once I get them from corporate*
After the tiring event I met up with Nat to take the BAT goodies, went home to take a bath and head to church. Went dinner with parents at The Curve. Forgot the name of the restaurant but it basically serves seafood. Kanasai! Luckily they have chicken too.
Oh My Love.......
Have you ever wanted something so bad in your life that you just can't stop thinking about it? I mean, like when you're in love or maybe having the craziest cravings for your favourite desert. I feel the same way for you, Kaiser. As quoted from Jerry Maguire, "You complete me" and as corny as it sounds, Kaiser... "You had me at Hello"...literally.....You might be thinking, who's Kaiser? So i'm gonna give you another hint...HTC.....a.k.a. High Tech Computers!! lolz. Most of you are probably not aware of the brand HTC until the recent launch of HTC Touch.....er...... well no offence but it's not my kind of handheld. If you really want a superb masterpiece, be ready for the HTC Kaiser/ P4550. I'm telling you it's fcking great because it simply has all the features I look for in a handheld. Yes! all that Me, Myself & I look for! *told you the review's opionionated*
So what's so great about this phone? Well for starters, it runs on windows mobile 6, has 3G.....it's the 1st PDA phone to have a 3mgpx camera in it.......it has the QWERTY keyboards........and yes..IT HAS GPS! Oh yea, the cool thing of this phone is that the slidescreen is able to slant approximately 45 degrees!!! Omg, I'm cumming babey!!!!!!!
*http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=733*
To be fair, i guess i have to talk abit of the downside of this beautiful, sophisticated, superb, excellent, eye-catching and sexy device as well...=P......The only potential issue with this phone is the size, a little bulky (52x112x19 mm) but it's worth the weight (190 grams) considering what it can offer. So that's the worst this phone can be...................................................................... Okay fine i gonna confess!!! The fact that this device runs on only 128 mb ram & 256 rom capacity bugs me a little. I'm not sure if it is sufficient to sustain and maintain multiple applications at a time. And to be honest, i'm kinda skeptical of the turning the camera function in the midst of other applications. HTC Touch has already given memory problems when turning the camera on.....I'm not sure about this one though.
All in all, I'm still taking my chances with this phone. The HTC Kaiser/P4550 is supposingly the replacement of the Dopod 838 pro, hence I don't think this phone could get howwww bad. *fingers crossed* Should be out in Sept 2007, so get your ass up and DONATE me some MONEY for crying out loud!!!!
p.s for you gadget fans out there, would like to share with ya'll this website which offers videostream reviews.
The Monday Blues....
It's 10.26 p.m and I'm starting my first post. Why? It's because I'm already bored. It's Sunday night and the Monday blues are already starting to kick in. I don't hate my job, in fact I kinda like it because my collegues are fun people and my work is interesting. When I was doing Management Organisational Behaviour in college, I always assumed that it was interesting but not applicable in reality. Something like literature. *but i was wrong*. Coming into GE even as an intern really opened my eyes. The corporate culture here is really apparent. People are generally friendly and approachable, everything moves really fast; thus it reflects the company's expectation of their employee. I was told, the only constant thing in GE is Change itself. Ahh....the irony.
*new office*
Tomorrow is going to be quite a challenging day because I am going to receive my final project. It's called S2, more of a budgetting project for the next quarter. Sounds easy eh.....that's what I thought until my boss wished me 'luck' for it. Apparently I have to analyse data from the previous quarter and assess accordingly. *Still sounds bearable right...* Well after analysing the data, I have to assess the various unit's productivity and then approach the respective unit leader to question their numbers. So I'm imagining a tiny-weeny intern (@.@) who probably knows nuts about the business, facing unit leaders who have been working there for years, questioning them and requiring them to justify and substantiate the amounts. *Ahhh....so that's why my boss wished me luck....really need it* Then again, I guess this is where the "leadership-building-emphasis" comes in. I'm not really sure how to do it but hopefully it'll be fine. It's already the 5th of August, only 25 days more to go!!!
